best player for movies

I was using MS Media 9 to play movies. I see people say Beta player is better. I have tried to download and install but have problems doing so. Files just have a ~ after them and won't install. Anybody else recommend other programs?

Persevere with BetaPlayer. It is quite simply the best - by a mile.

You do know that Betaplayer doesn't handle Windows Media encoded products, right?

What part of the installation is giving you troubles?

I've installed the latest Betaplayer on nearly every type of Axim...it is running without error on X5s at 300 MHz to my X50v at 624 MHz.

OK, when I unzip the file, it shows 6 more zipped files. I unzip those and it will show steup~etc. There is nothing to lcick and install. I have installed other programs but this one is different.

You only need either the Setup.exe file to download or the arm download file. They shouldn't even be in zip. However, if you downloaded the arm file(which it looks like), that is the CAB file, meaning you copy that whole file to your axim and execute it there. It will look like it is a zip file but it really isn't. Don't extract the files from it.
