X50V Windows Media Player
Windows Media Player on my Axim X50V cannot find any media files, (ie: mpg, avi`s) stored in built in storage (or) on a cf card. The files show up in file explorer but not when you search for those same files in media player.
Also when you download a mpg from the internet, Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If I do a search for media files it does not find them. I know they are there because they show up in file explorer. WHAT GIVES!

First, WMP on you X50 will not play .avi files. One of the short comings of the program. Second, do you have these files in a My Documents folder? That's how I have mine setup and everything is found just fine. Example: SD Card/My Documents/File.wmv.
Last, I recommend that you get betaplayer from here: http://betaplayer.corecodec.org/ . It is the best video player around.

Anytime you change the music files in WMP10 (add/remove) you have to go Menu->Update Library in order to get them to show up. Call it another short comming. Enjoy~
