Rip Audio Only from DVD?

Is there a way to rip just the audio into a wav or mp3 format?

Or maybe from a WMV to wav or mp3?

I wanted to create some soundbytes from some dvds. Thanks.

i use dvd audio extractor i got from download.com; it has a free 30 day trial and then it's $30; i think it's worth it cuz i've ripped many songs from my disney dvd's for the kids and then used wavepad (also from download...for free) to edit them to wav format. hope that helps

Thank you both for your replies. I'll try converting the PCM file to a WAV and see how that works. Thanks.
