Virtual Dub errors!
Hi,
Lately I have experienced 2 problems with my Virtual Dub:
- When trying to encode in 2-pass, when I click on go, I get some error message that some .dll cannot be found or that he cannot start encoding. I will post the exact error msg tonight, but I've read on these forums a similar error so it might already sound familiar. However I found no solution so far, so I have to encode in 1-pass with all the disadvantages of 1-pass.
- Also, when trying 1-pass lately, and all the settings provided here (I've done some succesful encoding with those lately), when I click on "save as avi" I DO get the screen where you can see the time elapse, progress, ... but nothing happens, the time progresses but the encoding itself does not react. I had this in the past and could not solve this, even with a fresh uninstall/install of the prog (might be some dll/reg trouble). Only at that time after I had to do a complete format, and reinstalled Virtual Dub it worked again, but now I have same problem all over again and I already shiver by the thought of having to reformat one again (especially for just 1 prog to work properly).
Any thoughts???
