Just looked at the fairuse f.a.q page. http://www.fairusewizard.com/lang_en/faq.html
What is the difference between the Light Edition and the Full Edition of FairUse Wizard ?
The only difference is that the Full Edition does not display the logo.
So there ya go.

OK, here is a screen shot form the FairUse program. You can see the crop lines in both. One is the using the regular "Auto Set" button, the other is using the 4/3 option. Gives you a better idea of what it does. FYI the 3/2 button is very close to the 4/3 option just a tad wider.

Also, in the "lite" edition, you are limited to 700MB max size of your file. If you purchase (10 euros), you have an unlimited file size (I enjoyed this program so much, I figured I would pay for it). I have been ripping some larger files (over 1GB) to use for viewing on my computer. They look better than those small files when viewed on my desktop.
So, it looks like v1.2 is out now, and their FAQ has changed to read,
"What is the difference between the Light Edition and the Full Edition of FairUse Wizard?
The only difference is that the Light Edition is limited to 700 MB encodings and does not allow for range selection."
(ref http://www.fairusewizard.com/lang_en/faq.html )
No more mention on the watermark logo. Has anyone tried out v1.2 yet? Is the watermark really gone? I've still got v1.0, and I don't want to upgrade until I know for sure.
I'll take a look. I can't imagine why he'd remove it though.

Well so far no Custom Range is allowed with 1.2. I could do that with 1.0 and 1.1. MTC
Update: All Righty Then, The "bug" is gone in v1.2 but you loose a different function this time. I mean it only makes sense since he is trying to sell the program after all. I just encoded a trailer off a DVD in case you're wondering how I checked it out so fast. :)
