Media Players (Dilema)

Hello all,

Let me start off by saying that I ordered my x50v with high hopes of it not only helping me remember things at work, but also that it would double as a portable MP3 player. While it has helped me at work, I am now having problems using it for music.

My first hope was to use WMP10 with Napster to Go. And then I recieved my Axim and realized how stripped down Microsofts mobile version of Player is. I want to do everything touchscreen, but that is tough with the WMP's library function. I have also demo'd Pocket Music and Mortplayer. I am using Betaplayer for Video. But I am assuming there is no way of using Napster to Go with these.

So here are my questions:

1) Is there a setting or hack to change the font size in WMP10?

2) Is there a way to use Napster to Go with Pocket Music or MortPlayer? (either a hack to remove DRM or built in compatibility?)

I plan to create my own skin for whatever app I choose, but need to have Napster to Go functionality. Here is the skin I was creating for Mortplayer:

I wish WMP10 had half the functionality of these other players.

Any help you guys can provide would be great.

Ok,

After a bit of playing around this afternoon, I have found a font tweak using Tweak2k2. By increasing the size of system fonts I get a larger font on the WMP Favorites. Is there any way (registry hack) of just increasing the Media Player fonts?

Still looking for a way to increase the font in the Playlist, and also I'd like to know if anyone knows how to make the bottom menu's look like this in WMP....

Is the playlist skinnable? Anyone?

I can't help you with the problems you have,

but I like your Mortplayer Skin :)

Pitty I am using GSPlayer nowdays (wish it was VGA though)...

Thank you, I like the Mortplayer skin a lot, but it crashes when trying to switch to my playlist for some reason.

I may port a stripped down version to WMP10.

Maybe when they release a VGA GSPlayer you might think of skinning it for all the GS fans :)

I too like your Skin alot. Any chance you got that working with mortplayer? If so, I was wondeirng if you'll mind sending me that skin.

I use GSPlayer, too, but I only play MP3s I have actually on my Axim (as opposed to streaming); and sorry I don't know anything about Napster to go.
Have you tried GSPlayer?

No, haven't tried GSPlayer, but it seems to be a popular choice.

If I manage to get the playlist function to work I would be happy to post that skin.

That's the smartphone version of Windows Mobile. It differs mainly in no stylus support, no Pocket Office, re-designed today screen and no on-screen keyboard. Since there is no stylus support, "Soft Keys" was added. There are two hardware buttons that select the options at the bottom.
