Hey All,

Just finished my first WMP skin for the Axim. I decided on WMP in order to use Napster to Go, which I cannot get to synch up thru my desktop WMP10 now. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Stupid question, but how do I install the skin for WMP? (By the way, it's very cool looking!)

EDIT: Nevermind. I just created a folder named Plastic in the WMP folder. Works great! :)

thats cool!!!! one thing though.. will it be distorted if i use it with a NON-vga ppc???

Probably not. It will probably just show the top corner/half of the screen.

This is the first WMP 10 skin that actually works! I noticed that in your skn file you have the following lines:

[ Description ]
// <X,Y> <DPI>
// ------ -----
Dimensions 480, 640 192

// <Orientation>
// -------------
Orientation Portrait

I do (did)not see this in other WMP 10 skins. By adding this I now am able to see and choose other WMP 10 skins, but they are ¼ size and in the upper left hand corner of the WMP window (in both SeVGA and VGA). How can this be corrected so I can use them?

I think you would have to edit all the source images to be 480x640, but then they would look terrible.

WOW!!!! THAT ROCKS!!!!! First time ever a skin works on my PPC!!!!!!
And it looks great too!!!!

(maybe just the Fast Forward bar is a bit too small???)

Also, how can I get the title of the song to WRAP and shrink to fit??? Is there such a function? Some of the titles do not fit into the display!

This is an awasome skin, I use my axim in my vehicle as an MP3 player on trips, the large button are perfect. One question?

I downloaded the file, unzipped it into a folder and then placed the folder on the axim in the same place as my other skins, but I cannot select the skin in the WMP10. I am running a Axim X30, can I use this skin? Am I doing something wrong?

Hope someone can help me out.

There should be no black bar when installed. The empty space is there to compensate for the Windows Mobile menu bars.

Hi Josh, I hope you don't mind but I went ahead and converted your beautiful skin to QVGA for those of us without an X50v.
