Turns out the Pocket Divx Encoder does not like Muvee maker that ATI bundles in with some of its cards.

I think so. PocketDivxEncoder works fine for me. I don't like it due to the inability to maintain aspect ratios (e.g. 16:9 -> 4:3 comes out distorted).

What _EXACTLY_ are you doing? I'll try to recreate the error on my PC.

I'm running Windows 2003 Server, with no additional codecs installed.
