Question Media Player 9 streaming Video Settings

Hello everyone,

I wonder if anyone has managed to stream via a local wireless network, windows media videos to the media player on the axim?

I am able to get sound, but no video.

I suspect it's due to the incorrect choice in the bit rate and/or size of the video. Or is it something else?

Any suggestions for the correct size / bitrate to get this working?

thanx.

andy

p.s. I am running the movie in media player by going; open URL and typing the server name http://192.168.2.100:8080

Oh but if anyone knows, you may want to increase the RWIN TCP size on the Axim. That would be useful to people trying steam data on thier own lan.

In properties - compression - Destination, choose Pocket PC. The default here (259K) will give you Video but no audio. :-) (I wonder why M$ chose such default.)
You can change the audio setting to "20kbps, 16khz, stereo".

Good luck!
