No that's not correct, they're just warnings not errors.
The warning on the left is caused by using MP3 VBR audio within an AVI container, aka Nando's Hack, which is perfectly OK but can cause problems if you attempt to edit the AVI. For example if you split the movie in half, the second half
might lose audio/video synchronisation, if you are converting a whole movie start to finish then this warning can be safely ignored.
The warning on the right is caused by a combination of two things, the fact that VirtualDub uses the old Video for Windows interface (if you play it in WMP or any other player that uses Directshow then that message never appears) and shows that an old version of XviD was used to compress the video. If you step forward a couple of frames then go back to frame 0 the message will have vanished as it's not actually part of the video, instead it is generated by the XviD decoder.
