New PocketMVP installs into Axim Memory?

Hello Everyone,

I just upgraded to the new version of PocketMVP. Previously, I had it installed on the SD card. For the new version, I had to move the cab file to the Axim and install it from there, where it did not give me any options and installed onto the Axim itself. What is up? Did I do something wrong or is the program taking away my options as to where to put it? Thanks!

Try installing from your PC. That's what I do. I run setup and I put mine in the built in memory...

Thank you for replying. I d/l the latest version and unzipped it with Winzip. When I doubleclick on the *.exe file, it says that it is unable to save it to the Activesync folder. Then I copied the PocketMVP_ARM file to the SD card. Then I found the file using explorer and it installed to the Axim. Can you tell me what I did wrong? I did not have a problem installing the earlier version. The version that I installed was released on 4/6, I believe. Do you think I might need to disable Zone Alarm Pro before I install the Pocket MVP? Also, when I try to use Virtual Dub on a couple of movies I have according to your instructions, I get this error stating that Microsoft MPEG-4 V3 is not supported by this application (a message similar to that one). How can I get around this to resize the movies for the Axim? Thanks in advance.

Hmm... Mpeg4-V3 sounds like the pirated microsoft codec... you could look for the nemo codec pack... that has the right codec in it. Also is something wrong with your activesync? Or is it in a different directory?
