WMP doesnt play any videos apart from WM. You need betaplayer or something similar to play them

Where on the storage card are they? Do you have them in your My Documents folder on the storage card?

The Betaplayer web site has some videos you can use to test. Goto http://betaplayer.corecodec.org/download and look at the bottom.

Sometimes some files I look at cannot play and I run them through PocketDivxEncoder at http://divx.ppccool.com/. It is normally pretty good at making files work on my x50.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Is it an .MP4 file or an .AAC file?
Try renaming it from one to the other.
If it's a protected .AAC from iTunes then none of the above programs will play it.

It says it is a MP4 but it is from itunes so that is most likely the problem. Any recommendation on where to download music for the PPC. Are there sites where you do not have to subscribe but just can pay for the songs you want?

You need to be specific. Did you rip it to iTunes from CD? Or did you download it from the iTunes music store?

As per my previous post, where are the files stored?
