Free storage space through gmail?
I was just wondering if it would be possible/practical to save large media files such as movies to my gmail account and when I have internet access, open them into Windows Media Player? Is this even posible? Can Media Player even handle that big of a file?

I doubt that WMP can stream from a Gmail account. If you want to access the file, you will have to download it first before playing it.

do you mean that I cant send a file bigger then 10 MB's as an attachment through gmail? why is this so? And I would open the file not save it to the PPC. Could media player just buffer it very quicky with a high speed connection? Can't media player play media from the internet that is bigger then the RAM or ROM?

Why can't it be bigger than 10MB for GMAIL? Because that's how they have it set at. It doesn't matter that the Inbox space is over 2GB, the attachments are still capped at 10MB each.

LOL MrK, you beat me to it. Yes, and I wouldn't complain about GMail's 10 MB limit. Heck, they're giving you 2+ GB of space, and the ability to use it for file storage, and all for FREE!! Man, what do you expect? It's not an Online file/web server.
Search the forums for Dreamhost. You will find a thread that gives you a discount code for 1 year's worth of Web Hosting for $9.99. I think that would suit your needs . . .

What type of file? You were taqlking about buffering before, if you want to use it for media{(lovies, music, pictures) you can use ORB( www.orb.com ) and for files...you can make an ftp, and get a ftp explorer for ppc and download and upload filoe onto it)
