nope it doesnt,
so heres my check list, make sure the mp3 do exist on the SD card, make sure the file association for mp3 is with wmp or a 3rd party application. | |||||

IF you see a generic windows icon it's not associated with anything so it won't play by just tapping on it in file explorer. If you're using WMP10 on an X30 you have to update the library in before you can choose and play a song or album.

:i hope we're not messing with you too harshly. dont panic has giving you a way to fix problem, so execute the wmp go into now playing click on the little icon with a greened + sign. go browse to the location of your mp3's. and now wmp should play them. as far file associations , this here application does it --> +GSfinder | |||||
