Pausing MP3's on Windows Media Player
I have a Axim X5.I download audio content (Radio Shows)from the internet to a sd card or cf card. The MP3's in question are 10 to 12 Mb's and the shows are 30 to 35 minutes long. When I pause the show around the 17 to 18 minute mark into the show is where I have issues. When I want to start playing the track again the Windows Media player says its playing but no sound comes out nor does the program advance. After 10 minutes of no sound the show continues right where I paused it. Any Clues ??

Did you use active sync to transfer the files or did you use a card reader ? The reason I ask is that when I would use active sync it was very slow and unreliable and I would get those problems with stuttering and loss of sound. Once I started using a card reader the transfer time was 100 times faster and my stuttering and loss of sound problems went away.

Well, since they are MP3s, I recomend GSplayer or BetaPlayer. Both of those are really good MP3 players and well I refuse to ever use the Windows Media Player again if I can avoid it.
Those do OK with my small mp3s but I never tried it with those big ones you have.
