quicktime

Ok, I have media player, real player, now all I need is quicktime. Do any of you know where I could get a free utility that will play quicktime movies? I've searched, but no luck.

Thanks,
J.Lee

There isn't one. Apple owns that format and Bill and Steve do not get along.

Betaplayer can play .mov with no problems.

Or a useful tip to remember is that you can always rename a .mov file to .avi and it will play as an .avi just fine.

Microsoft owns $150 million of Apple. They bought it back in 1997 with a big "kiss and makeup" announcement.

I believe MS has since sold that $150M of stock. (And when you have literally billions in cash sitting around, which Apple does, that $150M doesn't buy any leverage. It was just symbolic.)
