BUG: GSPlayer - playlists do not load correctly

Hi.. Jon.. hope you can help me on this one..

It looks like when you try to open a playlist or MP3 file from the file browser that is setup to open with GSPlayer (GSPlayer is associated to all file types), it opens the player.. but the playlist or music file doesn't load. I tried this a number of times with different lists.. but it doesn't seem to work!

Is this something you can look into when you have some time? This functionality works just fine in other programs like Vito SoundExplorer 2005 and Pocket Player on my machine.

Thx!

That's odd, it loads playlists by tapping on them fine for me. Try reassociating them and see what happens. If that doesnt work, post a reply here, and I'll ask some more pointed questions to see if I can't figure out whats wrong.

Hmm.. could be that I've installed and removed too many of these players lately! All the associations are setup for GSPlayer.. but when I click a playlist or MP3 from fileexplorer.. just the program loads and not the list or song.

If it works for you though.. then i must have messed something up in the registry.. I'll explore there and see what I can find.

Thx as always!

Check that the registry keys below have a "%1" at the end otherwise the OS will not pass on the filename. This can happen quite easily and was probably caused by an uninstaller not renewing GSPlayer's registry key backups.
Code:
\HKCR\GSPlayer AudioFile\Shell\Open\Command
\HKCR\GSPlayer Playlist\Shell\Open\Command
