DivX 6.0?
Well, it looks like DivX 6.0 was just released... I don't know a whole lot about how codecs work on the Axims yet, and I am wondering if we can pretty much immediately start using it for our video remastering, or if we've got to wait until a compatable version is offered somewhere.

The codec itself will produce content that is decodable on players supporting DivX be they hardware or software. The new DivX Media Format (DMF) is probably not compatible with current players as they will not be able to parse the container format. In practical terms videos will play in current players but you will not get any of the fancy features provided by DMF such as menus, multiple soundtracks, subtitles etc.
