Mad Update ROM and PocketMVP

I upgraded my ROM yesterday. No problem during the update. However, PocketMVP crashed once or twice on me so I decided to uninstall it and then re-install the latest version which is available at www.pocketMVP.com. I believe the latest version was created just a couple of days ago (4/13/2003). My MP3s play just fine, but when I hit the PAUSE button, it hangs PocketMVP and I can't kill it. The Task Switcher no longer works either and I'm forced to reboot. The STOP button works fine. It's just the damn pause button!

Has anyone updated their ROM to A02 and have the latest version of PocketMVP on their PPC? I'm wondering if this is problem just with me.

Mine still works fine with A02. I can pause, move to middle of file, blank screen, loadup files from networked drive etc w/o problems.

And you updated PocketMVP to the latest version .8.041303? It's probably just me but I don't know how to fix it...

BTW, I just tried to move to a different location within the MP3 and it crashed again. Looks like I can't do that either....

I just looked at the Changelog in the PocketMVP help. Looks like the author has been trying to fix some lockup issues when pausing with the last few releases. Looks like he added them in for me! If anyone has a zip file for the v0.8r release, I'd love a copy. I can't find it on the web anywhere.

Sorry to report that I did not fix the problem. I just don't use the pause button anymore. I emailed the developer, but no response. No clue here.
