Pocket Music Bundle - Unstable?

I have pocket music bundle 3.6 and routinely every few days it seems the app just goes haywire.
I have a X50v with Rom A03 and have it installed to the SD card, i typically use the CF card as my MP3 storage library.

I open the app and go to play some MP3s and the app starts to plays like 2 sec and closes. Doesn't seem to matter where the app is installed or where the MP3s are stored.
If i do a re-install it works fine.
I did download the cab installer file and placed the pocket music cab on my SD card for the quickie install when it happens so my install isn't pc depended anymore, but when it happens it still is a pain.

Anyone else have similar trouble?
Anyone have a fix?

I like the features of the application with the gapless playback and crossfading options as well as the sound quality and skin provided for VGA. Makes a great media player when it's working.

I did a review (should be posted soon) and I had the same issues withthe program.
If you get dead silence after breaking the speed of sound, would you be in the darkness after passing the speed of light?

Do you still use it?
If not what did you go with for an alternative?
I really like the look and features of the pocket music app and haven't seen anything really comparable.

It doesn't like being installed into the SD card - I had a chat to PocketMusic about that. Install it either to main mem or BIS...it seems to play much better there. There's some codecs I think...I got it working stable for a while, but now I just use betaplayer!

I just posted about this on another thread. PocketMusic looks like a good program but it has issues that PocketMind is either unable or unwilling to fix. Even as a customer that purchased the full bundle I am unable to use it. I've switched to iMusic and GSPlayer (free).

I wish PocketMind would get their act together.

I have a different trouble - the installed pocketmusic and forgot all about it. A few weeks later I remembered about it and fired it up, and then it corrupted my SD card. Nice.

yes - count me in among those using PocketMusic, wherein the MP3 plays for about two seconds, and just suddenly conks out...
