Pocket TV is great for MPEG's but Betaplayer can play MPEG's and AVI's and MP3's and OGG Vorbis.

Doesn't anyone use Gordian Knot? It's a free download as well that does it all I believe. That's what I've always used for my Palm T|E and it works great for my Dell Axim X50v. I use DVD Decrypter for ripping but Gordian has a ripper built in as well. I have not used Fairuse yet but don't really have a need to.

I may not be much...but I'm all I think about.
I'm thinking of downloading FairUse also. But, how would I get a single episode off of a DVD with 4 episodes?
Thanks!
When you download it and run it you will be able to see. It is pretty easy. There is a walkthrough in my sig that is pretty good too. Enjoy~

I like AGK also. It lets me queue up a number of files to convert. I don't think Fairuse lets you do that. AGK also seems faster than Fairuse. The knock on AGK is that it contains an adware / spyware file (DAE I think). But you can use Adaware SE to remove it.
FairUse will allow you to que up as many as you would like. Nice feature to set up and run them all at night. Free and No adware/spyware, nice bonus.

So Fairuse allows you to rip and encode in one step?
Yes, put your DVD in. Follow the steps in the walkthrough, and when you are done you will have a .avi file of what ever size you like that will play on your Axim using BetaPlayer. If you would like to do 10 movies. Do the same thing, defer the processing until later. Then before you go to bed, run them all. In the moring you will have 10 .avi files for your Axim. Good Luck~

I guess I've got a new video encoder.
Damn, I just mastered AGK, but you can't argue with the simplicity of Fairuse.

Yep, the only difference is the final file size with the Lite version can't be made bigger then 700MB. Not a problem for us wanting to convert movies for our Axim as 700MB way more then you need to make them.

Not for me.
FairUse was easily twice as fast.
Faster than anything I've tried except Pocket DVD Studio.
That's the record-holder of all the ones that I've tried.
