HELP: PocketMusic 3.6 crashing on me

to anyone:

is there any limitation to PocketMusic 3.6?

could this play VBR MP3s? if so, is there a limit to what it can do?

basically, ive just encoded a few MP3s using CDex (through the LAME codec) with VBR, and well, IT KEEPS crashing PocketMusic. the file plays for only a second, then PocketMusic completely exits itself (i think i remember that at this point, it was around 207 kbit)...

however, this never happens with Windows Media 10 (im using an x50v)

thanks!!!

well, this is already solved - i dont know the cause, but a little voice in my head told me to reinstall (effectively overwriting the ol' settings) - and everything is back to normal...

hhhhmmmm... what could have happened?

PocketMusic never has worked for me and my X50v. Reinstalling and installing to different locations never worked. My files always played distorted and choppy.

I'm with ultimate_pda. Very dissatisfied with PocketMusic and I can never recommend it to anybody.

I have the same problem, tunes that used to play just fine all of a sudden started to play for a second and then PocketMusic would just exit.

The re-install thing works for a while, but then the problem's back.

Pocketmind supports only registered users thru email (very nice guys, thanks a lot!) so I decided to remove the thing from my PDA and I now use Betaplayer. VERY user UNfriendly and ugly interface, but VERY stable.
