Questions about Betaplayer
I have been trying repeatedly to install betaplayer and I end up with no menu bar (file/tools/plugins etc..) I am using a version of Betaplayer that was made on Jan. 25th, 2005 named "betaplayer.arm.ce" Is this the correct file to use on my x50v? Will it automatically have the 2700G plugin? I am soo confused because there are soo many versions available at this point.

thanks for you help....

Kenny

Or betaplayer.arm.cabs.STABLE.0.5.zip dated 01/25/05.
That ZIP file has the different versions for all current devices.
For the X50v you want the CAB file betaplayer.arm_ce3.cab.

I have dowloaded those files and the toolbar is gone everytime... The bar where it says FILE/EDIT/PLUGINS etc... gone so I can't actually open any programs with it..... ANy suggestions? ANd yes it has been installed and uninstalled... it has to be somethign with the registry. I don't like to mess with the registry though.

I don't have a bar that mentions EDIT or PLUGINS.
What do you have below the big black square where the movie plays?
You should have a grey rectangle with a skinny white rectangle within it (like a slider bar except there's no slider unless a file is playing) and below that is the toolbar that says File and Options and then has the icons for Play, FF, Stop, Full-Screen, Mute and then a small volume slider.

And are you running any VGA-tweaking apps?

Are you using any task bar/wis bar/magic button/true toolbar or similar programs? Is so try disabling them and try again? Just a thought.
