Removing DVD write protection

Here's the problem. When I use ActiveSync to transfer a DVD I converted using FairUse to my SD card in my Ax, everything works fine...except for the time it takes to do it. When I put my SD card in my card reader and try to copy/paste, I get an error saying that I can't do it because the movie is write protected and to remove the write protection first. Is it possible to remove the copy protection using FairUse, or do I have to give up a slow, but wonderful program for another method that will allow me do drag and drop movies with my card reader? Thanks in advance.

I don't think so because I copied The Matrix using the card reader fine. I'm trying to go old school with Beat Street and it's giving me problems.

It's in the middle of copying through ActiveSync now so I'll try that idea when it's finished. Any other ideas in case that's not it?

Try the switch on your SD card maybe it's in the locked position.

I just successfully copied a mp3 from my PC to the SD card through the card reader, so I don't think it's the card...just that particular movie. However-scratch all of that. I just tried the same movie again while I was typing this message and it worked fine. Maybe I did accidentally lock the card with that little switch on the side. Who knows? But thank you all for your responses. Everything helped. I just love this site. Sometimes I have to remember that there are other places to surf!!!

Could we be just a tad bit more subtle?
