Look at the specs of this wmv file (using wmp10 properties):
Lengh: 17:16
Audio Codec: Windows Media Audio 9 voice
Audio Format: 8 kbps, 8 khz, mono
Video codec: Windows media Video 9 screen
Bitrate 272kbps
Now, have a look at this one:
Lengh: 04:49
Audio Codec: Windows Media Audio 9 voice
Audio Format: 8 kbps, 8 khz, mono
Video codec: Windows media Video 9 screen
Bitrate 91kbps
When i play the first one in WMP10 I'm only able to listen to it but the display remains black in both normal an wide screen mode. When trying to play the second one in WMP10 again, I'm able to listen and watch the video just fine and if i try to use TCPMP with any of them it will display the following errors "Player: Audio codec (Windows Media Audio Voice, 000A) not supported by the player." and after clicking "ok" in the error message box "Player: Video codec (MSS2) not supported by the player".
Guys these videos are from a certification course I'm taking and I've tried everything on them: converting files into a format that Betaplayer can play (when i had Betaplayer, a great player BTW :approve:) follow the instalations advices for TCPMP in some threads here and nothing has worked.
Can just someone tell me what's the difference between both files (I know nothing about videos or sounds files) that one will play and the other one won't?
This is very critical to me, since I must play my certifications videos on my ppc 'cause most of the time I'm on the road.
Please someone help!!!
