Coverting to proper Video Format

Hi I wanted to know how many I covert the mpgs and avi's to the proper format and sie to play on the axim media player. I had life drive before and it automatically compressed the video to the right format and size to work on the PDA its the a program similar to this for the X50v? thanx

In order to play on the win media player on your axim the video file must be in wmv format. You would be better just keeping them in avi and mpeg format, if they are already small enough, and just downloading either PocketMVP or BetaPlayer.

Check out FairUse Wizard if you have not already done so. It will convert your DVD into a file size and format that will work best on your PPC.

Core player (former Betaplayer) is an excellent media player. See http://tcpmp.corecodec.org
If I need to re-encode any files, PocketDivXEncoder is very easy to use.
