Streaming video and Betaplayer setttings

I have alot of movies in divx/avi/mpg<---why is this not supported?... I love watching them anywhere on my axim through my wireless lan using BETAPLAYER. But what is the best setting for streaming unsing the betaplayer/TCMP?. I sometimes get the annoying data buffering (rainbowhourglass)going on some large movies every other minute....BTW does all the data get buffered to Main RAM?...if so can i change it to one of my storage cards? I usually have anywhere from 21-30mb of free RAM at any given moment...I tend not to multitask when watching a movie.

Axim x50V
A04 ROM
1gb SD
256 CF
CPU speed set to MAX...
Betaplayer SEttings:

Options->Video->Smooth Zoom (only50%)
->Dither
->Intel 2700G Decoder

Options->Player->Normal Buffer size 4800KB
->Preload at underrun 70%

Thanks...
