Using Pocket DVD for VCD

I know the POcket dvd can be used to transfer files to watch DVD mvoies in Axims, but what about the VCD files ?
I know it sounds old school, but anyone ?

You mean Pocket DVD 1.1 or pocketdvd studio? I know about pocketdvd but not pdvdstudio...

the .dat file on your VCD is simply an mpg file, use windows media encoder to encode to .wmv format or pocket divx encoder to encode to .avi and play in beta plaayer (tcpmp player) or if you have a large sd/cf card you could probaly copy the .dat file directly to a card and change extension to .mpg and play in betaplayer as/is (although it would not be optimised for PPC)
