Hi, I was encoding a movie I had and I ran into this problem when I was opening the file in VirtualDub:

"MPEG Import Filter: packet sync error on packet stream (c6a0d8c)"

I did use MPEG Corrector program before I tried to open it in VirtualDub.

Anyone know how I can fix this problem so I can encode my movie for the Axim?? Is this a audio or video sync error?

I solved my own problem. I had to use FlaskMPG to convert the movie to a usable format for VirtualDub.

If anyone needs more info, just leave me a message.

I get the packet sync error problem all the time and its driving me nuts...I'm trying to dub VCDs to play on the Axim. I've got a few to work but the error rate is about 80%...how did you fix it ? What is this flask mpg program ? Grateful for your advice...
