TCPMP sound problem

I have the latest version of TCPMP installed on my Axim 5 and I can not run a video (Divx created with pocket divx encoder) and then move the slider to, say the middle of a one hour video, and then have the video play with sound. The video plays, but with no sound. I can usually advance the video about 5 minutes or so and still have sound, but any more than that and I have no sound. This makes it difficult to stop a show in the middle and pick it up later.

Any one else have this problem??

Thanks, Mike ////\/\\/\///////

Some of my videos do that also, I believe the audio portion hasn't "caught up" yet. Have you given it enough time to catch up?

I don't have that problem with version 0.66a and xvid videos I ripped myself.

How about instead of using the slider to go forward an hour set your forward step rate to 3600 seconds. That way you can use a button or the d-pad to go forward that far.

The sound doesn't seem to catch up with the video. The video just plays with no sound. I can use the fast forward from the last point where there is sound - usually about 5-7 minutes from the beginning - and get back to the point where I was, but this is a PITA. I'm converting using pocket Divx encoder, so the files are AVI files. I don't know if changing the format would solve the problem.

I also always need to turn off the title bar. Even if I previously unchecked that option, I need to re-do it every time.

I don't mean to look a gift horse in the mouth. This is a great program and it's free. These are just 2 frustrating little problems.
