Hi I read this AximSite DVD Ripping FAQ to encode one of my DVDs with PocketDivXEncoder and then DVD Shrink'd it to take it down to 320 x 240 for my X30 mid. THe video looks fine, but even on my PC I have no audio.

I used the 2 channel audio to encode, should I have used the 5.1 instead or did I do something else wrong? Has anyone else had this happen before?

Have you tried using Fairuse to rip your DVD to an AVI file?

Why are you using DVD Shrink? maybe we have different programs but the DVD shrink I use helps fit a DVD onto a single layer DVD+/-R(W) blank.

Just give Fairuse a try, will convert straight to AVI.

Does it also reduce the vid down to 320 x 240?

Yes you can set it to reduce the res.

I used Pocket divx encoder for the first 3 or 4 movies with good results. Then it stopped playing audio as well. I then switched to Fairuse and it's worked every time, and you only need the on program :)
