no breaks between tracks?

Is there a way to play audio on an Axim with no breaks between songs or tracks? Currently I'm using TCPMP and listening to a lot of live CD's.

I've been ripping my CD's to mp3's at 192kbps using WMP10. They play back with no breaks using WMP10.

I remember reading somewhere about how to rip and play with continuity between tracks for PDA's, but can't find it anywhere.

Is it a codec? Format? What's up?

Try using PocketMusic for playing mp3s. it has a feature for "gapless" playback or crossfading between two tracks.

You can get the free version here ( scroll to bottom ).

http://www.pocketmind.com/pocketmusic.htm

It also supports VGA and Winamp Classic skins.

Very cool. Looks like I got a new main app. Will still use TCPMP for movies. Gotta love it as well. Thanks.

With the upcoming version of TCPMP... look for a plugin for gapless playback. I spoke to a developer that has begun work on this and will work with Picard on any issues. Though I due suspect that to do this it would require an internal buffer that picard will have to code in TCPMP. I'll post news on CoreCodec.com when I hear more this week about it.
