Please help me sync music onto storage card

Hi all,

I finally figured out how to get music from windows media 10 to my X30. But how do I sync it onto my storage card? And no, I do not have a card reader.

I can't find any menu giving me the option to sync or transfer to storage card.

I am relatively new to this PDA netherworld so please be gentle.

When connected to your PC, open up ActiveSync on the PC side. Click on File - Explore. Copy and paste the files you want from your PC to your memory card. That's it.

If you want to get music to your storage card, you can use the My Documents folder for you axim. When first plugged in your device to your computer and installed active sync, the first thing the computer did was create a My Documents folder for your axim. This is what you will use to put music onto your storage card. The first thing to do would be to plug in your axim. Once it is connected to the computer, go to Start\My Computer\Mobile Device\My Pocket PC\Storage Card. Then open a separate My Computer window and find the music files that you want to put on your axim. Then just click and drag the files to your storage card. You may have to resize your computer windows but it's a pretty simple process once you get the hang of it.

If you mean automatic syncing (like itunes 'autofill'), I'm not entirely sure how you would do that w/out a card reader, but using a card reader is pretty simple (it is just like using a ums mp3 player) and faster.

She shoots she scores

SHEEEEESH, finally figured out how to sync music from Windows Media 10 to my storage card.

I think my laptop heard me. For the first time a wndow opened up asking me if I wanted to sync automatically or manually? Whoa, nelly!

Hope it happens the next time I get on!

Now the $1,000,000 question: how do I remove music from my BIS????

Use File Explorer, find the files, tap and hold, then select Delete.
