Why has no-one written a program that will compress normal DivX or DVD formats to a size best viewable on a small PPC screen?? Seems lots of peolple including myself are doing the same tasks day in day out just to fit stuff on a small card.

May have to undertake this task myself if its not been done already, even if its just gunna be a small macro to start with.

in the days of punchcards it would have been simplicity to just write a batch job

In the days of punch cards I don't think compressing DivX movies to PPC's was near the top of the agenda :D
