Media Player - Playing Movies
Hi all.

What kind of movies can you play with your Axim? Are their any dowloadable (for free) that are small enough to store/play (even for showing off sake).

Also, I tried to play a short movie - but the Axim would not even see it. Read some stuff about divx or codec or something. Any ideas?

I am running Media Player 8.5.

Thanks. Take care.

You need to go to the Multimedia section of the website. There are step by step instructions. It takes time, but works like a charm .

If you do not want to use a seperate application, Windows Media player can only play .wmv movie files.

Windows Media Player for PPC (v8.5 for Axim) supports MP3, WMA and WMV. To play other formats, you will have to use 3rd party software. My particular favourite is Pocket TV (www.pockettv.com). Its free for personal use.
