Can't remove trial software from Axim X50v
I downloading some trial software from Pocketgear for palying MP3s from the Today screen. It worked fine and everything but I just don't like the set up. I wanted to remove the program and did the whole Add/Remove programs from both my PC and the PPC and both times the PPC prompted me by saying that the program can not be removed because other applications are running or or its a read only file. I made sure that no other programs were running all ten times I tried removing the program. I would appriciate any helpful advice.

What program are we talking about? Some progs are add ons or plug ins which have to be disabled from their parent app.

Mozzak Crystal Player
Exact Promtp:
Unistall unseccessful. The program was removed because these files are in use or are read only-files. Tap Start>Settings>Systen tab>Memory>Running Programs tab>Stop All and try again.

Oh OK - this is a Today screen plug in .
Go to Start>Setting>Today>Items
and disable the plug in from there.
You can also try to remove the software from the same page by selecting it and going for the Options... tab on the right

Jukov,
You're the man. It worked like a charm. I'm just a rookie so it may have seemed simple enough for everybody else but I'm learning. Thanks you for taking the time to help a fellow member.
