I take it that you are not using windows media player to copy your wmas. You need to open WMP (on your pc), and click on the sync tab, and you should be able to send all your music you want to the axim. It worked for me.

Like he said, Open WMP10 on your desktop, right click the wma you want, choose send to sync list, then click the sync tab at the top, choose your memory card or where ever from the drop down menu on the right, and click the sync button. Done and done... If it is protected you are better off using WMP10 to transfer it. Good Luck~

1. open WMP (on pc), and click on the sync tab at the top
2. In the left box, you should see something that says sync list, click on that.
3. click on whatever catagory you want (I just click all music)
4. select all the music that you want to copy over.
5. in the right hand box, you should see a scrool down menu, click on that
6. you should see all the possible storage places in this menu (inlcuding your storage card), just click on whatever you want.
7. Choose a directory in that storage card (or make a new one by clicking the folder button at the top right of the screen).
8. click start sync

This should work, if not, you should download tcpmp (http://www.tcpmp.org), but I don't know if it will play w/o the license.

Hope this helps, and someone corect me if there is an easier way.

Josh

I did what you guys said but it then said this. "Cannot play file because the license is not valid or corrupt. This is really annoying. ugg.

That's what I disliked about Media Player on the PC.
WinAmp doesn't pester you for licenses.
Just wished there was a WinAmp for Pocket PC!

I'm trying to do this too with DRM protected files to my PDA. I get an error saying unable to convert.

How can I fix this?

Do you by any chance have protected WMA files?
When you rip the song from a cd WM10 can protect the content so that it can only be played on that PC and no other, I've experianced this problem with my x50v.
Open WM10
Tools
Options
Copy Music
Uncheck protect copy

works for me

I had the same problem. I bought and downloaded music to my X5 with no problems. After I bought the X50V I tried to copy the same songs and keep getting the missing license message. Try copying your music from your PC to a CD. Then copy the music from the CD to your Axim. I do this all in WMP. It is another step but worked for me.
