orb question

Hi,I am using ORB to stream the video to my X50V. Hey, it is awesome :approve:
However, I cannot have the videos to be played in TCPMP instead of the WMP. Any body knows how to set it up in X50V so that the stream video can be played in TCPMP automatically?
Thanks.

how about looking into file association.

one way would be to use this file manager named GsFinder to associate the file extension to the desired application(s)

I'd also like to do this. The video from orb in WMP is awful. I was hoping it would be better if TCPMP played it, since TCPMP is optimized to use the Axim video hardware. I've changed the file assignments in TCPMP and can get TCPMP to be the application launched when I select a video in Orb, but then my Axim freezes and I have to do a soft reset. Has anyone successfully done this? By the way I'm still using v.66 of TCPMP, does the latest version help. Please only reply if you have been successful, I've already been down all the obvious rabbit holes.

You shouldn't need GSFinder to change the file associations. It can be done from within TCPMP.
