That is correct. WMP in the PPC will only play video files in the WMV format. You will need to either encode your movies to that format or install another player. PocketMVP is a good one.

TCPMP (aka BetaPlayer) is the best, IMO. Links are in my sig. Lots of info around here about it as many people use it. Free too!
