No Album Art in WM10?
I have synched several songs to my SD card using Media Player 10, but there is no album art. This has worked in the past just fine, but now it isn't.

Anyone have any ideas why?

I have even done a hard reset, formatted my SD card, and cleared the cache folder within Media Player 10 on the desktop.

I believe you have to make sure that you need to obtain the album art and some other information about the song first with WMP 10 on your desktop before sychronizing the song.

I don't what to tell you what to do with your Axim, of course, but would't it be wiser to turn the screen off and preserve battery?

Thanks everyone for your help.

I don't know what the deal is. I have album art in the Desktop version, but it isn't transferring. I gave up and went through and copied all the images manually into each of the folders on the SD Card

who knows...

@Gigi: Thanks for the link

@Jukov: I play my Axim over an FM Transmitter in my car with a power adapter, so battery power isn't a problem. It's just kinda nice to have the image art pop up with each new song. Nothing critical, just nice to have...

Out of curiosity, do you mind sharing which FM transmitter you're using. I would like to do the same and actually bought a cheap one at Radio Shack but it performed very poorly so I returned it. I had seen someone review the 'rockit' or 'beamit' - I can't remember the name now but it sounded like it worked well. Thanks for any input.

Wished there was some ambient screens that could be played on the Axim, much like MP10 does. I get tired of looking at the black screen.

I listen to MP3 files when playing games online, or streaming Sky.FM!

I bought one off of ebay for abouth $18 plus shipping. The brand name is Insten, but it looks just like the Belkin or the one made by Belkin for the iPod.

There were two different ones I had to choose from:

One uses batteries (Sorry, couldn't find a link for you)

The other plugs into your cigarette lighter: Click Here

There are several of them listed on ebay, most from the same guy as the one in the above link.

I chose the one that came with the power adapter. It is a digital transmitter with 4 presets, but you can choose any frequency manually. The only thing I don't like about it is that it won't operate on battery, it only works using the power adapter that came with it, but other than that it works fine.

Hope that helps..

I know what it was now. It was the iRock Beamit that I had read about. Thanks for the link. I will check that out.
