email me a screenshot of your post count and a link to an archived or cached version of the site. It seems some have lost lots of posts and what has happened in the 2 cases I have looked at is that the snafu Sunday night deleted the user name and set all posts to "Guest". Now that I have reimported the data, you only have what posts you made on Mobilitysite before the merge. If you provide the proof of post count and care enough to get it fixed, I can manually set your post count. This will most likely take me a few days to a week to get to, but get them in now before the Google cache expires, etc...

And for those of you who don't know, although most people here are techies so they probably do, here is the best way to get a google cache page with your post count.
Then just substitute the word username for your username. Chances are the newest cache will be on the first page of results, just click on several cache links and look for the newest date. If you are having trouble finding a recent cache, anything from October, try clicking on "Show Options" link by the google search bar and then click Recent Results.

tried it but as far as i can go back even 12 months it still shows as guest.....
of well lost something like 3000+ posts ...completely hosed.... but i did get my medals back...lol
I noticed in some people's profiles that the post count (on the admin side) showed commas in the post numbers, so I wonder if the user manager is dropping everything after the comma...so I'm wondering if a user with 3,500 posts only shows up as 3.

I went from 784 to 34 what the hell. I found one post from 9/10/09 & I am listed as a guest. I have posted since then but it doesn't give a post count. update problem
Nothing against Chris or anyone else on here. I devoted countless hours helping people on here. 99% of my post were actually helping people. I didn't post what I am driving, what I was listening to, finish this story in five words, all the other threads. If at all possible I would like to get my post count restored. Is there any hope since I was listed as a guest on 9/10/09?

Just send a PM to Breley with your post count according to google cache. It says 720 posts for you. They will fix it for you. Your old posts will still say guest and you cant edit them, but youll have your post count and priveledges back. This happened to a lot of people, including myself.

All you need to do is follow the suggestion I made and be patient, I am trying to merge users "guest" accounts and their live account to restore things to the way they were before I made this mistake. I estimate that I have 10-15 more (working) hours to get to the point when I can start on the user account issues. Just shoot me an email to chris(at)mobilitysite.com with some info. Thanks.

Seems I lost almost 18,000 post? It also shows me with a starting date of sept 05 when I Joined dec 04 and my old christmas avatar lol

I had a pile of awards and about a 1200 post count that are all gone now.
I looked at archive.org, which only goes to Aug 2008 and I can't pull up anything from there.
Any suggestions as to where else to look?
Is it not possible to count my posts - or did they get hosed as well?
Even my password had to be reset.
