Unfortunately ... judging from the looks of it ... it won't fit in an Axim. They don't give the exact dimensions, buy it looks like the base of the camera is too big. It will probably hit the top of the Ax before seating all the way.

Somebody prove me wrong .. please.

The Pretec 1.3 camera works perfectly. Purchased 10 of them for use in a commercial environment. Only regret is that it does not have a flash. The new Sony NX70 has a 2 mega pixal camera and flash and a keyboard and a twist hi-res 320x480 res. screen and is $800 us...

Just got my pretec 1.3 mp cf camera
very disppointing, so far.

I loved my palmpix camera and was psyched to find this one for the Axim, but the picture quality is HORRIBLE!

I will keep trying to figure out how to use settings to maximize the quality, but so far no luck.

The user's guide is poor. There is no explanation as to how to adjust the lens.

If anyone has any suggestions or can give me feedback on how they like theirs, I like to hear them.I may just send it back and go buy a seperate but better camera.

Can you post some original sample images from your Pretec?

It's a shame there are no Axim drivers for the HP Pocket Camera too...

Billy - that's so disappointing.

Maybe with a few tweaks, you'll get things working though.

I agree with Rhyno - would love to see some sample pics on what the camera IS doing, though.
