Hi All!
I found some information about the dell axim x3 at the swedish idg site http://www.idg.se/ArticlePages/20030...116_CS.dbp.asp , but i translate the important stuff for you:

-It will be thinner than X5.
-No CF slot.
- New mini sd slot (sdio)
- Integrated wlan or gprs.
- Integrated Bluethooth
- Cheaper than x5
- Available in mid june.

After all the trouble with SD Cards to NOT have a CF slot is DUMB.

I don;t want anything to do with a Secure Digital Card regular OR MINI!!!

Very bad move if they get rid of the CF slot. A lot of people buy the Ax because it has that feature, and not just to add WiFi or GPRS cards. There are many peripherals for the CF slot and I wouldn't want to lose that capability.

its not a bad move its just gonan compete with the Hp 1910, especially since it appears to be cheaper then what we have. ppl who want more will just buy what we have, thats why we bough it. There will probably be an even better one in the future that will replace ours, but I'm not looking too forward to that since I just got this one.

I've been googling "Dell Axim X3" and have found a few things:

It seems the X3 will be small and the X7 will be wireless.

Hmmm.. are Mini-SD more expensive? If they are, bad.

Nice, whats the range of the imbedded functions. What settings are available.

Don't use it, weak range other than items next to each other.

That seems a long time to wait for a the new Ax, but I guess we don't have much choice.

I see absolutly no reason to upgrade to this new model. If I had reason it mainly be the size of the unit. I just came from Dell's page and the checked out the specs.
Length 117 mm (4.6 inches)
Width 77.2 mm (3.0 inches)
Height 14.9 mm (0.59 inches)
Weight 136.5 grams (4.8 oz)

:exc: Almost exactly the same as my X5. :crooked: What's up with that. Not to mention that you'd probably want to buy a new cradle. If I purchase a CF wireless card, I'll have almost exactly the same thing! Ya know... some times I REALLY don't like Dell.
