SD accessories (except memory cards) will not be supported by the Axim X5's because the X5's SD slot does not support SDIO interface. Maybe X3 or X7?

Does anyone know the specs on the X3 or X7? Is there going to be a 1Ghz processer with increased ROM? Just hoping and thinking.

Just my opinion with a frame of reference from the last few years of Pocket PC evolution. I would think that a 1GHz wouldn't come out for a couple of years. Does anyone have any more insight to this. They have to take care of the bus speed problem before focusing on a faster processor. Xscale's problem is the bus limitation or it would potentially be much faster. Also the software development of the xscale is very limited right now.

Thanks for the info guys. I was not aware of this constraint. Although I would probably never buy any type of pda camera, I was looking at the upcoming 802.11 SD cards from sandisk. I guess I am going to have to get a CF wireless card instead.
