Only problem with this solution is it only addresses the mounting problem and does not solve the other two issues. It doesn't power the PDA nor does it amplify the sound so it can be easily heard in a noisy road environment. When you add a power adapter and amplified speaker system, your price is back up near the integrated solutions. I bought a Haicom mount from BuyGPSNow for $33 plus shipping for my Ipaq 2215 and it is designed to work with other PDAs by changing the connector base. They supposedly have a base for the X50/X51, but I haven't found anywhere to buy it yet.
