We plan to support Mazdas. May in at the end of Oct- mid Nov.

I will be mainly using this interface for my X51V, but I would also like to use it for my mp3 players, laptop, etc.

Will I be able to use the audio adaptor as an aux input with external audio sources other than my axim? I guess with that setup it would be without charging capablities and in dash control.

Right now we have only 1 input so you have to reattach cable to the adapter to get regular RCA. If you use iPod it will charge iPod no problem.

are there any plans to do something like this with video capabilities?

I have a '98 Mercedes SLK230 and I recently bought a Panasonic CQ-VD7003U In-Dash DVD system. I have been looking for a way to not only connect the audio from my Axim, but to find a way to play Videos from Windows Media Player on the LCD Screen.
