Hard Drive is a Seagate 2.5" 5200 rpm 60GB laptop drive, in the Asus WL-HDD enclosure. http://usa.asus.com/products.aspx?l1...60&modelmenu=1
I'm just using the ROM and utilities it came with for now, but there is another ROM that somebody cooked up; since this thing runs on a mini-Linux Distro, it is open-source. I'm thinking about trying to run folding@home on the thing! :-B

A3.) After speaking with numerous companies and individuals it was determined that Twin Paradox had to reduce the footprint of its CFUSBH card for infrastructure support.

HUH? And that is supposed to mean what, exactly?

Additional time was taken to come up with the right solution for the market. Our conclusion, a small form factor dongle-less CompactFlash USB Host Card, is the correct solution.

Erm, it needs a mini-USB to regular USB cable. In my world, that's a dongle.

A3 means that their original version was really, really big and stuck out like a sore thumb.

The "dongle-less" nature is the fact that it uses a standard part, a USB mini plugged cable. These come with many cellular phones, like the Razr V3 and most smartphones. You will still need to connect physically to your USB peripheral.

As for dongle-less, I have personally never seen a mini-USB male to USB female cable.

Infrastructure support, meaning that when people broke off that old dongle with the slightest jolt, they would have had to repair/replace a heck of a lot of them, and establishing the infrastructure to support that kind of massive flaw would have been cost-prohibitive.

And, mi-USB male to USB male is quite common, while a simple USB F to USB F can be found fairly easily. What they mean really is that it's not a proprietary thing, and it doesn't have to dangle when your peripherals are disconnected (i.e. you can remove the cable). You will still have to physically connect your USB drive, keyboard, what have you to the USB host card.
