Frannyman finally i bought the Ratoc card, tired of waiting the Tin Paradox product. The price is expensive, but is a very good product, gives me the possibility to connect an USB mouse, a keyboard and one hdd at the same time, combined with the VGA out converts my X50v into a portable computer.

I have probed the ratoc with three hard disks, one CF reader, one SD reader, two mouses and a keyboard with succesful results. The only limitation is that i can't connect two USB storage devices at the same time, but with one 40 or 120 GB portable HDDs i have more than enough.

Thanks to the ratoc USB host card i'll make one expansion jacket with some devices (USB hub, RS232, GVA out and internal 5GB hdd switchable for connecting external HDDs) same to the fantastic Aximizer made by afarre.

If you want to know more of the Ratoc's card you can read the posts written by afarre, he has probed it even with a touchscreen monitor.

If the Twin Paradox's card don't go out for sale in a short time i'm afraid there will be a important loss of credibility about this product and consequently a low sale rate.

i'm sorry orto-nazi, english is not my first language, spanish is, I think a typo now and then are acceptable, specially when one posts from an axim.

Well, they are not asking for money, so it's not a con. My impression is just that they are rather under-staffed. Just a couple of guys doing this apart from their regular work. Nice, they are showing the thing being tested. Even with the deadline pushed back yet again, those pictures make me a little hopeful. Does that make me an optimist, or a sucker?

And I agreed with their TCPMP remark, that the new Coreplayer/Betaplayer should show buffer status. This would work with wireless streaming as well.
