I use one... it works well for what I need it for. It gives a bit of versatility in letting me charge my Razr, Q, and Axim with the same charger (not at the same time). No need to carry multiple chargers. One usb cable and one synch cable for my Axim.

for me it is worth the money I spent.

The new Versacharger Pro rocks!

I used to charge my X50v with the first generation Versacharger from boxwave. While it was great to be able to use the Versacharger with other devices in addition to my X50v there was one problem. The charger couldn't charge and power my Axim with all the wireless options turned on (i.e. WiFi, Bluetooth) I really hated that it lacked juice, but I'm happy to say that the new Versacharger Pro blows the old VersaCharger out of the water. I can now charge my X50v and use my WiFi and Bluetooth simultaneously without a hitch.

I'm glad I upgraded! :approve:

Hi... I just got my Versacharger Pro, and when I plug it into the wall outlet and use the DirectSync cable, I get a pronounced screen flicker and my x50v does not charge. I am running neither Bluetooth nor WIFI.

This is not what I expected and I'm pretty disappointed. I expected to be able to plug the unit into the wall and run my Axim while charging. Is this a defective unit, or are my expectations unrealistic? It sounds as if it's defective.

Regardless, mine is going back at this point.

As an aside, I have an "ancient" 2-in-1 charger from Seidio that works flawlessly using a wall outlet (but the car charger part is broken, hence the pursuit of this option.
