Data/chargingcable for Axim/Nextel

I recently saw a cable on a website that was capable of linking an Axim with my Nextel i90c phone while also being plugged into the adapter socket in an automobile. I probably should have ordered one at the time, but I thought I bookmarked the site. I have not found it since. Does anybody know of the site or product I am talking about?

Something like this:
Nextel i80/i90 to Dell Axim Wireless Internet Cable
or from SupplyNet
or from Pocket Solutions

It was similar to the one from Gomadic or Pocket Solutions, but it had another cable with a car charger that could plug into the block between the Axim and the phone. It made a lot of sense for dialing into the Internet on a trip and maximizing battery life.

Has anyone bought this and used it? Does it simply take up minutes on your phone? How is the connection speed?

not too sure

Now...before i start, I've been a huge fan of Nextel for YEARS. In my opinion, best cellular provider out there. Especially for my needs, except for wireless data.

There are multiple plans that Nextel provides, allowing you to use your phone as a dialup modem. If i'm not mistaken, doing so does use your minutes. There might be like a monthly access rate where your minutes aren't subtracted from your account. http://www.nextel.com, under services would probably get your more info than I really could.

Now, the nextel gods would probably cause my bill to double once this happens, but i do plan on aquiring a bluetooth phone and a bluetooth module for my Dell and i'll more than likely get T-Mobile's data plan. Unlimited access for 29.99 a month. In my opinion, that's gonna be the best deal for me. I plan to use my Axim often. Only thing that's gonna kill my hopes is if T-Mobile doesn't offer services here...I checked with Cingular, Verizon, and AT&T Wireless, and the winner, without a doubt, is T-Mobile.

check 'em out for more questions.

Axim to I90c Nextel

Just received a cable I purchased on Ebay made by Gomadic. Ebay bid price was $34 and Gomadic sells for $39.95. Now all I have to do is make it work. Gomadic has a pretty good FAQ section on their web site. Will report back my findings and my results.

I found this under the accessories area on Nextel's website for the i90c phone. I think this is what you are looking for:

OEM USB Data Cable with Charging Capability This data cable links your phone to the USB connector of a computer or PDA allowing your phone to act as a wireless modem. The cable also features a charging port that is integrated into the cable so the phone can be charging while simultaneously performing data operations. The charging port accommodates a phone's standard and rapid travel chargers as well as its vehicle power charger.

It costs $25
